Forests, mountains and trees are constant companions on this mostly downhill walk to the town of Pieve Santo Stefano, tucked into a narrow valley of the Tiber River. The trail markings are excellent, so it is easy to find the way on Sentiero Frasssati and CAI trails 50, 66 and 75. After two uphill stretches the remainder is a long descent.
