Route guide

Via Ghibellina

Via Ghibellina Joiner from Firenze hills through Casentino-side terrain to La Verna.

Via Ghibellina is the Firenze to Santuario della Verna approach that reaches the same La Verna join point by a different Tuscan and Casentino corridor. The current production route is arranged as four practical planning stages through Bigallo, Vallombrosa, and Poppi before the final climb to the sanctuary. It is historically rich and physically serious: long forested stretches, limited accommodation, and substantial ascent mean this copy should stay practical, current-update aware, and clear that the four-stage split is a planning structure rather than an official stage system.
