Browse AccommodationsDescription
Foligno - Spello is a sub-section of Foligno - Assisi (19.345 km overall, +580 m/-450 m). Between Foligno and Spello, it features the final section to Assisi, moving from valley floor to Subasio slopes. It matters because it carries strong arrival value for pilgrims approaching the Basilica of Saint Francis. Pilgrim planning note: timing should support a deliberate, unhurried city entry; during Franciscan feast days and Ferragosto, lodging pressure rises.
