Until a final climb, this is a short and very flat stage through urban streets, warehouse districts and farms on the way to the tiny but very charming hill town of Citerna. It may be best to consider Citerna a pleasant lunch and provisioning stop because the town presently has no lodging in its boundaries. However, just 1km before is the spartan Convento Zoccolanti and 1-2km afterward are Poggio Villa Fano and Tao B&B. Another possibility entirely is to have a relaxed lunch in Citerna and continue on 5.5km to Agriturismo Le Burgne.
