What is the Testimonium?
The Testimonium is the official certificate granted to pilgrims who have walked the Via di Francesco for religious or spiritual reasons.
Requirements
To receive the Testimonium in Assisi (Basilica di San Francesco), you must show your Credential with stamps proving you have walked:
- Last 100 km on foot.
- Last 200 km by bicycle.
Where to get it
Go to the Statio Peregrinorum (Pilgrim's Office) at the Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi.
- Location: Porta dei Morti (Lower Basilica courtyard).
- Hours: Generally 9:30-12:30 and 15:30-17:30 (check locally as they change).
