The Via di Francesco offers a range of accommodation prices, generally slightly higher than the Camino de Santiago due to fewer "donativo" options.

The "Pilgrim" Budget: €45 - €60 / day

• Sleep: Religious hostels (Accoglienza Religiosa) or municipal hostels: €15 - €25.
• Eat: Picnic lunch (€5-€8) + Pilgrim Menu dinner (€15-€20).
• Misc: Coffee, snacks, museums: €5.

The "Comfort" Budget: €70 - €90+ / day

• Sleep: Private B&Bs or Agriturismos: €40 - €60 (per person, shared room).
• Eat: Restaurant meals with wine.
• Misc: Luggage transport service.

Cash vs. Card

• Major Towns: Cards are widely accepted.
• Small Villages/Hostels: Cash is King. Many religious hostels (Ospitali) only accept cash donations. Always carry €50-€100 in mixed bills.

ATMs (Bancomat)

Found in most endpoint towns, but check your map. Don't assume every village has one.
